like fish swimming
around a lure
eager to feed
and die
among the smallest
worlds within
a droplet of time
death itself
matters little
when so little
and so small.
Neil Ellman, a poet from New Jersey, has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize, Best of the Net and Rhysling Award.
