Since 1984, Luc Fierens has worked as a collagist provocateur researching the relation between word & image. He makes connections and projects within independent networks : mail-art, visual poetry, etc. His artist’publications (Postfluxpost) have been acquired by major archives (R.& M.Sackner Archive ), libraries (MoMa Library, Rare Books coll. University of Buffalo, museums: MaRT (Trento e Rovereto (Italy) and KaNAM -Japan) and private collections (Fondazione Berardelli Brescia,(Italy).
He writes of the above pieces: "(They are) stories about brutalism, the disavowal of blighted Brutalist structures is a rejection of the unconditional love of imperfection."
