We watch the same movie & it means two different things

From a window we don’t own
after Pound
No view of faces or petals—
only brick, wires, blank sky—
the 65 bus coming & going
*
To be a shark
grow teeth as needed
never stop moving
be Zen Master of the hunt
*
Attention
I misdirect myself
again & again
disappear time
into flashing blue lights
*
the living and the dead
do not compete
for the same real estate
*
after the memorial service for you
all I want to do is
message you to let you know
how it went
*
Linger
that scent
on your hands after
arranging tomatoes
*
