Carol Stetser writes: "This is my tribute to opera which sustained me over this past year of the pandemic. When the Metropolitan Opera in New York was forced to shut its doors, their HD productions were daily streamed free on their website. I began each morning of the quarantine immersed in sound and drama. I must have watched over 100 productions, many of them more than once. The new opera season opens in September 2021 which we all hope signals the return to some normalcy."
